Safety Training

Guardian Personal Safety Training provides Safety Training in occupational violence, aggression and personal safety for healthcare, paramedic and frontline teams. It was founded by Intensive Care Paramedics with first hand experience of workplace violence.

  • Workshops range from a 4 hour foundations session covering risk identification, verbal de-escalation and an introduction to self-defence, through to a full day advanced escalation course and a fully immersive two day (2 x 8 hour) program.
  • All workshops are contextualised to the client’s industry, drawing on facilitators with backgrounds in paramedicine, policing and military service.
  • Training is delivered as trauma-informed and scenario-based, using role-plays and real-work scenarios to reinforce de-escalation and self-defence techniques.
  • Online eCourses extend the same personal safety principles to specific roles, including paramedics, retail staff, library staff and community centre staff.

Best for: healthcare, paramedic or frontline organisations needing sector-specific training to prevent and manage occupational violence and aggression.
