Safety Testing
AMCOSH provides Safety Testing, occupational hygiene monitoring and hazardous materials analysis, for Melbourne workplaces from its Werribee office, operating since 2003 with NATA accreditation.
- Accreditation from the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) covers chemical testing of workplace environments, occupational hygiene sampling and asbestos identification and fibre counting, so exposure results come from an accredited source.
- Monitoring spans airborne asbestos fibres, hazardous chemicals, noise, vibration, heat stress, indoor air quality, mould and water, plus asbestos clearance inspections and validation testing after remediation of clandestine drug laboratories.
- Directors Robert Golec and Yanel Lara are Certified Occupational Hygienists with over 41 and 32 years of experience respectively, and hygienists on the team are full or provisional members of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH).
- The privately owned Australian firm operates Monday to Friday with weekend appointments by arrangement.
Best for: Victorian employers that need accredited exposure monitoring or asbestos testing to verify workplace hazards against OHS obligations.
