Skillinvest

Skillinvest provides apprenticeship and traineeship recruitment across Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth under the group training model, employing the apprentice or trainee and placing them with a host employer.

• Recruitment, selection and matching of school leavers and adults against host employer requirements, drawn from a maintained database of apprenticeship and traineeship candidates.
• Personalised ongoing support for both host employer and employee, including regular workplace visits, workplace monitoring, mentoring and HR conflict resolution.
• Payroll, leave accrual, superannuation, tax, insurance and WorkCover administration carried by Skillinvest, under flexible Enterprise or Award employment arrangements.
• Shared hosting and rotation, so one apprentice can be hosted by two employers or moved to another host employer if work runs out.

Best for: Employers that want an apprentice or trainee in the workplace without carrying the employment, administration and compliance obligations.

Skillinvest is a registered training organisation, RTO Code 4192, regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority, delivering nationally accredited training to employers and students.

• Accredited courses in agriculture, automotive, building and construction, equine and racing, hairdressing and recreational vehicle.
• Onsite training every six to eight weeks with one-on-one tuition, and practical sessions at a Skillinvest training facility or the employer workplace.
• VET Delivered to Secondary Students, and agriculture education at Longerenong College, a trading name of Skillinvest Limited.
