Safety Testing
2HEM provides Safety Testing, covering occupational hygiene monitoring of silica dust, airborne contaminants, noise and asbestos, from Wagga Wagga, NSW, serving the Riverina, Albury, southern NSW, Victoria and the ACT.
- Personal and static air monitoring measures exposure to respirable crystalline silica, welding fumes, gases and vapours, benchmarked against Safe Work Australia exposure standards, including the silica limit of 0.05 mg/m3 over an 8-hour shift.
- Sampling follows SafeWork NSW guidance and Australian Standards, with laboratory analysis aligned to NATA; asbestos air monitoring and clearance inspections are performed under a NSW SafeWork Asbestos Assessor Licence (LAA).
- Respirator fit testing and worker education support the NSW Silica Worker Register, which from 1 October 2025 requires registration of workers performing high risk silica tasks.
- Principal consultant Noëllie Bourdoiseau is a member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists and has been based in Wagga Wagga for more than 11 years.
Best for: employers in construction, quarrying, mining and manufacturing across the Riverina that must verify worker exposure to silica, dust, noise or asbestos against legal limits.
